In hindsight, I wish I had done my research before working with them to build my sunroom. Please do your research beforehand and research Rick Edwards in Pittsburgh. Also, look up Pro Home and Sunroom before... proceeding (F-rated on Better Business Bureau). I made this mistake when building my sunroom and I have been dealing with it for over 1 year. I did not use Pro Home and Roofing directly, but I did use Pro Home and Sunroom. I wanted to take the time to to write a nice review. Very happy customer. Carlo came and gave a presentation and price.... The quote was comprehensive and affordable. When we decided to go with Pro Home (we got several quotes), they were out the next week. After the roof was done Carlo called us to make sure we were satisfied. Overall, super efficient, quality, and pain-free experience. The communication was excellent and I would recommend them for any roofing needs. I paid a 4000 deposit in December of 2020 and was on a schedule they told me after I had to call almost 2 weeks later... to even get put on the schedule after they already had a deposit. Then they held paperwork up for the financing on a 20k+ job that made it to where we would have to jump threw more hoops to get it done when we where already approved had they just did their job and sent in the paper work when they where supposed to. They told me just sit back and relax it is all taken care of. They offer a recipe the owner has that my wife did request that she never received. You think heck I would of even mail it but it even says if the sales guy forgets it the owner will bring it. Don't count on that! Then I informed them if I have to keep doing things for a job that was supposed to be easy on me thats why I'm paying extra I will just cancel since there is nothing at my home for the job not 1 item except their sign they where happy to place in my yard when I gave them a good check for 4000. Well fast forward to mod January and I get a call from financing people that they need more paper work because they sent in the paper work just 2 days ago remember this is now mid January weeks late and after I already warned them since they didn't order anything I will cancel so I did that and Mike the guy in charge said ok and they will issue me a check. Well that was last Thursday this is the following Friday and still waiting for the check to where I have a feeling I may have to take them to court since they have my money and I no job and now they seem to be screening my calls. So I would recommend NOT using them because they may or may not show up and may or may not do what they are supposed to but if they don't and you are supposed to get reimbursed good luck with that it seems! They will answer if I block my number and I am still waiting for a Kevin now to call me for some reason which means it wasn't sent apparently.Update:they finally do respond and say they will refund me but I guess they don't have enough funds to cover my deposit that they took to issue me a check to cover my deposit until they receive the credit back from their suppliers which when I had my company almost every supplier issued credit instantly when I returned my materials for way bigger jobs and didn't get snippy with the customers when they asked for or where and what is taken so long and has been well over about 2 weeks since then or close to that and I still get we are looking into it! I just wish they would do what they say they would.read more
